I am experiencing some progress (in terms of setting up my online store); however, there are some frustrating issues still unresolved. For instance, since this is a “photography” Web site, my main focus will be to showcase my photographic images on my Photographs page and/or sub-pages. But, since most, if not all, of those images can be used on/in other products (like puzzles), I would still like to be able to showcase those images here (and on other product pages).
However, the challenge is that I can not create a grouped product with WooCommerce that allows me to have multiple products in it that contain variables (for instance, pictures that come in different sizes, cards that come in different quantities, puzzles that come in different piece counts, etc.). So, at present, I have to create different “shop” entries/products for each of these products even though they are all based on the same image.
So, for now, I am showcasing them as “related products” and may have to disable the “shop” page just so that you do not have to look at so many products related to the same image. Never a dull moment! Please see the test card listing below.
